With the news Tavita Pangai Jnr has put pen to paper on a three year deal at the Bulldogs from 2022 onwards, it got me thinking of my favourite three players still available.
Dale Finucane – Easily the best still available
The current co-captain of the Storm would walk straight in to a starting spot in any team he decided to chose, if he left Melbourne.
That’s still a big ‘if’ though.
Bellamy has come out publicly and stated he would hate to lose Dale. A host of teams have been linked to the workhorse lock.
My prediction is Cronulla Sharks…
Anthony Milford – Many have given up on Milf..not me
Plenty of fans have given up on the Milf due to a tough few seasons at the Broncos.
However I still believe he has a solid few years of play left in him.
He will not command the pay he’s been on at the Broncos, but at a reasonable price he could become a difference maker for a true contender as and X factor.
Would be a true weapon as a modern day 14. Recently linked to play for the Rabbits.
My prediction is he ends up going to their arch rival, the Sydney Roosters.
Dylan Walker – Believe it or not Dee Walks is only 26
Due to the outstanding form of Manly’s outside backs whilst he was injured and covering at Fullback for Turbo, Walker now finds himself in the 14 jersey on the northern beaches.
Which I don’t think will be all that bad of a situation for him.
I have Manly going on a run into the finals and I feel like their bench in particular will have a real big impact on outcomes.
He can also cover multiple positions which I feel is crucial in the modern game.
My prediction is re-signing with Manly.
